See how nonfiction can be “woven” with oral history, primary sources and research in this oral/visual presentation
I recently presented a visual/oral commentary about my research journey to write Courage Says “Keep On.” The event, kindly hosted by the Rhode Island Historical Society, is now available to view here. Enjoy!
Writing nonfiction is a process that sometimes resembles weaving, with different yarns merging and harmonizing to create a complete, vibrant and accurate narrative. I am deeply grateful to the Rhode Island Historical Society, along with the other libraries and organizations I contacted in New England, for helping me to connect with the resources that form such an integral part of my book Courage Says “Keep On.”
